I intensively work to make my dreams true.

In parallel, I am the Chair on Robotics and AI and a Professor on Robotics and Automation at the Department of Computer Science, Electrical and Space Engineering at Luleå University of Technology, Luleå, Sweden.

I was also affiliated with the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) at Pasadena, California for contacting collaborative research on Aerial Planetary Exploration. My team participates in the DARPA Grand challenge on Sub-T exploration with the COSTAR[1] team of NASA where we have won the second stage of the competition in February 2020.

I am also a member of the Board of Directors at euRobotics[2], as a member of the Scientific Council of ARTEMIS[3] in the field of Robotics and AI, a member of the IFAC TC on Robotics. an elected expert for the permanent working group (PWG) of A.SPIRE[4] with a focus on Process Optimisation and Ultra Carbon Coal, as well as an elected member on the Aeneas-XECS in embedded control systems.

 I have established the Digital Innovation Hub on Applied AI[5] at Luleå University of Technology, and created 2 spin-offs, where FieldRobotix has been selected from IVA to join the REACHME Silicon Valley accelerator. My Team’s work has been included 4 times in a row at IVA top 100 list the Royal Academy of Engineers in Sweden.

 My main research interests are in the areas of: Robotics and AI, Field Robotics, UAVs, Automatic Control Applications, Learning, Reasoning, Networked Embedded Controlled Systems, Wireless Sensor and Actuator Networks, Cyber Physical Systems, Mechatronics, Adaptive Control, System Identification and Multimedia Wireless Sensor Networks and Cyberphysical systems.
